What is your rental rate?
Peak Season: March - June, September - November
Friday or Sunday: $2,250
Regular Season: July, August
Friday or Sunday: $2,000
Off Season: December, January, February
Friday or Sunday: $1,500
We can also accommodate rehearsal dinners for $1,500 on Saturday and Sunday and $1,000 on weekdays. We can also host any other event, such as corporate, baby showers, etc.
Street parking is available for free. If your party is larger, we have adjacent parking in the neighbor's lot that can accommodate up to 125 cars for an additional $100, which is our cost to pay the neighbor for use of their lot.
You have access to the 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen for caterers the date of your event. If you would like to spend the night, perfect for the bridge & groom or mother & father of the bride & groom), this is an additional $150 fee for the night.
What does the rental rate include?
The rental rate includes access to the property (excluding the upstairs of the main house). If you wish to spend the night, the 2 bedroom apartment may be rented for an additional $150 fee per night. Contact us to reserve your suite rental.

How may people does Sailors' Rest accommodate?
Our venue comfortably fits up to 200 people, ceremony space dependant on location. Inquire for more details on this or to tour the venue.
Is there space to get ready on site?
Our downstairs suite is the perfect place for the bride and bridesmails, etc to get ready.
Does the venue require a deposit?
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold a date for your event, and the remainder is due 7 days before your event.
Do you supply catering/rentals?
We can provide tent, chairs, lighting, etc for an additional fee. Contact us for a quote.
We can also provide cetring by our personal chef for an additional fee.

We can also provide the cake or any baked goods for you.
Contact us for a menu and quote. Otherwise, you are welcome to bring in your own cake.
However, the renting party can bring in their own tent rentals etc and caterers. This gives you the freedom to offer catering, family smorgasbord, potluck, or any kind of food and beverage set up you hope for.
You can use whichever vendors you’d like for catering, bar tending, etc, but contact us for our suggested list of caterers, wedding planners, bands, DJs, ceremony musicians, cake/desserts, hair and makeup, floral, photographers, videographers, transportation, dress shops, officiants, and hotels.

Who is responsible for setting up & breaking down?
Setting up & breaking down is the responsibility of the renter if providing their own equipment.
If you opt to get your rentals through us, we along with our rental company will take care of equipment set up and break down.
Wedding events usually have 5 hours of event time. This time is flexible and open for discussion. For instance, if you book a Friday night wedding, you can have access to the property as early as 7am that same day. It is suggested music stop at 11pm out of respect for our neighbors. We are flexible and open for discussion on time line for vendors to set up and break down.
What if there is inclement weather?
There are several covered spots on the property such as The Biergarten, however each ceremony spot is also easily covered by a rented tent. (See other FAQ regarding tent info)
Is there parking onsite?
On street parking is available for free. If your party is larger, parking is available on adjacent property and can accommodate up to 125 cars. The rental of the extra parking lot is $100, which is our cost to pay the neighbor for use of their lot. Party buses may also drop off guests.
What do your recommend for a tent?
We recommend a 40' x 60' tent, however a 40' x 80' tent will fit over the small fruit trees.
Sailor's Rest can take care of ewuipment such as tents and chairs for you for an additional fee.

Otherwise, you have the freedom to chose which rental company to use and the renting party will be responsible for setup and breakdown.
If you do not wish to rent a tent, we suggest a rain reserve at rental facility. Snyder Rental is recommended as they only require 48 hours notice prior to event.
What are there for bathroom facilities?
There is one indoor and one outdoor bathroom available. For additional facilities, bathroom trailers may be brought in.
What is required for serving alcohol at events?
We require alcohol vendor to have license and insurance. Most bartenders and caterers have their own insurance. You may use your own bartender or our bartender for an additional fee. Contact us for a quote.
